I live within eyesight of this beautiful behemoth. It absolutely looms over everything around here, even from 90 miles away.

@korver   I really don't know how you do it!!  Just spectacular!.  They are actually good enough to frame and put on a wall....of an art gallery.

I'm Starting A New Region That I Made. Seems Familiar, Doesn't It? Its Earth Itself!

A progress update of the Kellan metro and a preview of Kellan V2's next update that features a full-fledged google maps style map of one of Kellan's urban villages known as West Central (which can be seen in the regional map). Despite the fact this regional pic was edited to focus on the City of Kellan specifically, you can still see some changes like the very tall and dense skyline of Sapien in the left part of the image, which is a new addition to the region, squeezed into a small valley in South Arlington County.

ANNO Europe - eurocities map development so far !

As Mayon province, ANNO Europe - eurocities region is coming into it´s closing stages ! Frankfurt, Cologne-Koeln, Budapest, Munchen, Berm.Vienna, Prague and Luzern are about or completely finished. This year will cover the last remaining area and as usual some sidekicks into adjacent zone´s. Let´s have a look at the map so far !

7EvdXWz.jpg

Dresden and Bazel-Mullhouse area will be covered this spring ! Fall & Winter will cover last Zurich area wich will be a four part ending. Still there some little niche area´s of cities like Frankfurt or Cologne and zones like Salzburg-Insbruck open, but these will be outside the schedule !

YglFwiE.jpg

Regional infrastructure ! All lines will connect to the last Zurich zone; this will be the last main traffic hub of the region. Last aswell I might be  tempted to create somekind of Arlberg mountain railway into the the south of the Munchen zone connecting Insbruck to the Zurich area, more a cosmetic or so !

Dresden next will have a simmilair idea as the luzern zone, this will have a tram network, not extensive as the real sample. Swaping the NAM to version 36 I maybe adresed later as this allows tram in road bridges wich I really like, implemencations for other cities I will have a look at the end of this series; Zurich aswell faces aswell this issue but I conscider this to be a little to sensative !

Hope you liked this review !

Sincerely yours,

Kschmidt

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

I know this looks bland, flat, and griddy, but considering my skill level, I'm quite proud of it so far. Atleast I have a plan, even if this is just a test region overall.

If ya haven't noticed, it's also abit of a throwback to Wren Weburg's "Maxisland" region, in terms of naming. *;)

Getting city tiles to work well together in a region is an accomplishment in itself. The key point is that you are having fun with your creation.
