Congrats John! And a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi John. Nice little tutorial on farm fields and road access. I like the finished result with the combination of trails and fences. Interesting to see the combination of SAM gravel shoulders and dirt trails in pic 19. Great overall shot in pic 23, shows just how close you are to being done. Now I'm off to go look at Old Tom Road in high rez. Thanks John for another update and take care. Phil *edit: Hey, great hi rez shot. Something caught ny eye. Where did the guard rail along Old Tom Rail come from?

It's kind of like the end of summer, and that melancholy feeling comes over you. Feels that way about the approaching end of Anduin Valley. And yet each update is its own little gem. I really like that final shot in the last update. Thanks John, I will continue to enjoy it as long as it lasts. Take care Phil

Heya John. Hope your having a good summer and managing to stay cool. Broiling here in Manitoba! Take Care Phil

Lovely update John. I really like the work with the streams. Your technique for hiding the edges and glitches is very useful. The streams really flesh the area out. I notice you use the rail mod (peg's I presume) that put gravel under the tracks. It seems you get mixed results with the textures showing up, depending on zoom levels and direction of tracks. I have been using pegs mod, but am not sure I'm gonna keep it in because of the mixed results. 150 pages of pure excellence! How many more do you have left in you? Plenty, I'm hoping. Take care Phil

Fabulous region shot John. Very neat seeing the comparism too! Last couple of updates were very good (as always). Notice you are working in real time now (is there really such a thing?) Just looked at the animated gif Rayden posted. WOW!. I hadn't seen that before, but that is really cool. Enjoy and take care. Phil

Very Nice update John. I really like the detailing around those DU ponds. As always, you make very effective use of bike paths too! Even when I don't comment, I never miss an update. Thanks for all your hard work with Anduin. Take care Phil

Lovely closeups on the farms Bernhardt! And I agree, the Maxis farm seems to fit, in that shot. Phil

Really enjoyed the update as always John! The technical shots of the railway bridge, tunnel, trails etc are great stuff. I really liked shot 18 as well. The little details like the diagonal fences and the billboard make such a difference. That's one of the best things about visiting Anduin Valley. There are always ideas that can be taken away and used in our own cj's and md's. Thanks John, take care. Phil

Hi daniel01. I use one of cycledogg's terrain mods. Included in that mod is a "snowcapped" file that I modified in reader. In that file I lowered the sea level. Then a created some highways (and a town too). I saved the game. Then changed the sea level back to it's original level in the snowcapped file. The re-opened the game, and viola. The town and highway are under water.

Hi John. Nice work on David's Inn. I like the effect the paved parking makes. It looks like you are getting a little more into creating your own custom lots! The results are definetly worth the effort. Take care. Phil

Actually, I am using the new version of the NAM, and the two lane RHW. It seems to be working fine as far as I can tell.- 3,919 Replies

Nice work mjig_dudy! I would be very interested in an update. I am using the current version in my Mayor's Diary - Terraforming Teton. It works great for what I need, but the changes look even better. Thanks for the further work.- 3,919 Replies
