70,000,000+ Sims

Dude plop a few of these https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=11573 they have a big holding captsity for $ sims and they allways have full max people in there. I once created a region of all them and I got to a billion. I made one city then just kept pasting and coping. Well I just thought you might like that to help bring your population up. I hope you have more fun with this.

This is an idea that had to happen eventually on Simtropolis. The challenge is to get that big of a population without population booster mods. Keep it going as I want to see when it will start hitting the law of diminishing returns. There must be a point where no matter how many zones are placed they just will not fill up.

yes but that would be cheating. If you did that, you might as well mod it so one house has a population of 10,000,000+ sims. Even if he did multiply jobs, i dont see any.

cheating?? not really.. the game doesnt do a good job providing industrial jobs anyway.. the industry quadrupler helps out alot.  Though even with that mod I still have way too much industry scattered around in some cities

I read a si fi book about a city like this. They had cities with a billion people I think. You're well on your way. Any parks planned?

120 million! Man thats quite something! I was thinking tho, how cool would it be to have  a city of 120 mill but with a 'normal' city density? I figured that if you had an adverage city size of 300,000, you'd need to fill every tile in a region 80x80km! Anyone with a machine out there up to the task?

You know, if you add the building Big Ugly Archology... you get 65,000 people  per building... that could help you immensly with trying to get to a billion.  Hope that helps
