Your idea of a power transformer is very good. You say that it is nice for small cities, but I think it would be also as good in a larger city with a great need of electricity. It looks very realistic, and to add to add a new level of "realness" is to install power poles from it. Very nice indeed.

I only see the parkinglots, not the big generator. But I really like the idea and I'm using it with great pleasure.

Nice. Obviously the Maxis folks never heard about modern filtering technologies. One thing I noticed: did you restrict the colours of cars on the parking lot to blue/grey/purple for aesthetic reasons ? If so - could you offer a version with a more natural variety ? Thx in advance ;-).

This looks great. It also allows for a more realistic power grid, since a real-life city does not usually have more than one or two power plants. By using this transformer, no more than one or two power plants have to be built.

A transformer is not a power source. It is only used to change the voltage.
