About This File

OK, here is version 2 of this map, with the sea-level corrected. Turns out the image darkened when i saved it as a greyscale in Photoshop, so this is the lighter version which now has the correct sea-level as shown in the screenshot above

Although I have no idea what Venus looks like, I think this is a great map. I imagine all the possibilities with this wide river, the long tributaries and the lakes. Congratulations!

Interesting idea to use Venus' surface. Does it really have water? As far as I know it doesn't; or is that SC tweak? Either way good job and pretty region. 10/10.

Venus is full of acidic air and volcanos. Nastey stuff really. A person couldn't survive on the sureface of venus for must more than a few seconds, if they even made it through the acidic clouds. This gets a 10!

Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system, 250+ degrees centigrade, I believe. There are more mountains too. No water, just hydrochloric acid and chlorine! It is really nasty stuff!

No, there is no water on Venus, as the atmosphere is akin to that of the vent of a volcano. This is a region in the south of the planet, and is not at an accurate scale. At actual scale this map would probably be hundreds of miles across. I just added an interesting sea level. Glad you like it.
