Yes, this is a little to large. maybe somthing with a 30x30 BMP? that would be a good size.

My mistake. The DEM file which I got it from said that it was in Indonesia

Wow, this looks like a nice island...but according to encarta its in the Philippines, not indonesia...

BTW, in real life the island is 480km long...imagine doing it that size...480 small maps long LOL

Thanks for the compliments :) . I tried to make the region as large as possible to reflect the real island, but at the same time keep the size manageable. Of course it can always be resized but this, IMO is the most optimal

i edited my config so that it got rid of the large patches of water and i made it almost all large cities.. to make it easier to load into SC4

Olrayt Joe! I waslooking for the Philippine Islands map but since I'm in Mindanao (particularly in Zamboanga City [eastern tip of the island near Basilan Island]) it will do best but im still looking for the Republic of the Philippines accurate map!

yeah, midanao is part of the philippines i lived there for 5 years in the city of davao, the islands largest city. Nice work though
