I assume your highway will continue to function with a tile delete? Great effort!

As long as you have onramps on either side of the highway interruption, the highway will continue to function. I forgot to mention... this lot is found under the PARK menu while playing the game.

Love to use it for suspension bridge entrances, wouldn't do much for realism since also need another onramp between booth and bridge, sorta defeats the purpose. Yeah, I'm being too much of a realist, I know :) Good work though! Just gotta figure out how to have tiles function as roads.

I see you made use of my idea. Unfortunetly you ddint do it in a way to where the highway can reamin in place. So i hope you dont mind if i put up mine later tonight. To make the highway stay in place make a 2x1 lot then place the props to one side and use the reader to make the lot 1x1.

Didn't realize it was your idea, just thought I'd throw one together. Feel free to post yours. Hopefully we can work together to develop a great looking, fully functional toll plaza.

Oh sry my bad i just figured someone had used the idea i posted in the LE forum. It is no big deal either way. Also im pretty busy with my airport so maybe cou can do a few of the things i talked about. Ill email my lot to you if you PM me then you can see what ive done.

Can you boost the income? Also does it make trffic worse like on real highways? :o)

Hey man, don' use negative hex numbers, it screws up the SC4 engine. Go check out my "Fountain of Fortune" and base your toll booth offa that. I used some "unknown" values offa reward to make it positive income. Make your tool booth a 1x1 with extentions.

I used DenMicster's fountain of fortune to figure out how to earn income, excellent modding skills :)

Try and give this some negative aspects like most toll booths, increases traffic and discourages people from using the highway part with the booth on! As in real life. Can help encourage more people to use other forms of transport instead... Is it possible to do this..?

Good way to charge people who wanna work outta town... but is it NECESSARY to have ramps on both sides? If I place this next to a border, will it still allow traffic to cross the border?

Even though I think you still have more work to do to incorporate this tollbooth with the rest of the highway, I am impressed of how you can make money off of these things. You could place these between a major (and expensive) project, such as a tunnel or a bridge. Good job, and keep improving.

Good start. Like most people said, would be nice if trafic could pass though. Wish we has some more highway stuff.

Personaly I would like to see a working ramp that allows you to connect two sets of roads to a highways. Seen it in the upcoming Rush Hour. Still, would be cool to see a lot that does this in the mean time. :)

Ok i dont get this. Tollbooths are used to MAKE MONEY. Boston Mass. is using it for there Big Dig program and so far they made over $500,000,000 or something like that for $1.00 per car. Trucks something like $3.00. So change the monthly Cost. And the Big Dig started in the mid 90's i guess.

You've done a great job. Not to burst your bubble, but I saw some screenshots from a German SC4 website, and apparently Rush Hour is adding official tollbooths. It actually looks almost like yours!
