Mmm?? I downloaded the desert mod and nothing happens??

To get the desert terrain mod to work you have to put the dat file in the plugins folder in my documents. Then in sc4 in god mode you have to raise the region 2 times using the terraform raise tool. The redness of the terrain can be changed by raising or lowering the region.

I dont know I could try to upload the file to the stex, but I dont know if Teriusu minds. I wish I could ask him, but no one has seen him in a while.

I have included a link to the latest desert mod by Thalassicus. Its based on the mod by Teirusu, but gives you even more terrain styles to choose from. Its truly the best.

Very nice..especially for us desert-dwelling folk who get to see cacti on a daily basis. I am glad to bring some of that into my Sim-world! Will there be any follow-ups for this, such as barrel or organ-pipe cacti at all I wonder?
