About This File
The United Overseas Bank is one of the major banks in Singapore. The
buildings are located in the heart of the CBD of Singapore facing the
Singapore River. The compound consists of Plazas 1 and 2 and a link
connecting them. Plaza 2 was UOB's older building, Plaza 1 standing at
280m was completed in 1992. Plaza 1 was designed by renowned architect
Kenzo Tange of Japan. Ever since, the UOB Plaza have become one of the
icons of Singapore. The Plazas are fully lighted with floodlights
during special occassions like in our National Day or during Chinese
New Year. If you're in Singapore, take the MRT subway train to Raffles
Place station and exit and you should be located right in the CBD where
the UOB Plaza is located. Many thanks to forumers of sc3000.com,
