About This File

Cubagua is a small, arid Caribbean island located in Nueva Esparta; an insular state of Venezuela made up by 3 islands: Margarita, Coche and Cubagua (ordered by area, respectively). it's well-known in Venezuela for its beaches, many species of cacti, wild goats, pearls and the ruins of Venezuela's first European settlement, and South America's first Spanish town: Nueva Cádiz, first stablished in 1500 as a seasonal settlement for the exploitation of the island's rich pearl oyster beds. By 1515, it had become a permanent settlement; at its peak, it had about 1500 inhabitants. Eventually, it declined because of the depletion of its underground water reservoirs and its oyster beds. An earthquake shook Nueva Cádiz in 1541 and made a quarter of the city fall into the sea; later in 1543, a hurricane hit. As if it weren't enough, the remains of Nueva Cádiz were raided by French pirates that same year. Due to all those infortunate events, the city was abandoned and left completely in ruins.

No dependencies; still, I'm using LBT's Chihuahuan Terrain Mod (Normal) to give it a nice, dry desert look.

Greetings,

Hope you like the map! *:D

I like the four very large maps you have.  Are you able to create a map that has only 4 very large tiles or 6 very large tiles and no medium or small tiles in order to make it easier to create one large city without the hassle of trying to match up the land with all the smaller tiles?  :)  Just curious!  If so, and if you create one, please let me know.  I'm just looking for flat green land and then I can work on the terraine (mountains or water, etc.).    Thx  :)

¡Gracias por el aporte, Santiago! Agradecido de ver coterráneos miembros de esta comunidad. Descargado y listo para construir. Importante el mod de terreno para poder lograr un aspecto realista pues la isla es árida.

Thanks for the contribution, Santiago. I am thankful to see other contrymen/countrywomen being members of this community. Downloaded and ready to build. It is important to use the terrain mod to get a realistic look since the island is an arid place.
