Hi! I made a new map!
It's the metropolitan region of Montreal. The relief, the rivers and all the little details are present. The map is fairly faithful to reality (if we forget the deserts on the mountains...)
Here some informations about Montreal if you are interested.
Funded in 1642 by New-France, Montreal have some pre-industrial buldings. The main architecture is a mixe between French style, British style and American style.
About the population, municipality of Montreal have 1.7 Millions citizens. The Island of Montreal is 2 Millions citizens and the metropolitan region is 4 Millions.
Montreal is the largest city in the world located on an island surrounded by fresh water. Montreal have also the biggest inland port in the wolrd.
About energy, you have the legitimacy to use a mod or a cheet code to not have to producing energy. Province of Quebec product something like 400% the demand of energy with hydroelectricity. There are 88 hydroelectric dams throughout the province and they are under the jurisdiction of the government. 2 dams are supposted to be on this map. If you want, to cut the need of power, there is a cheat code. Inside a city, you can do Ctrl + x then, you write "fightthepower", then Enter.
Sometimes, I heard it's allays winter in Montreal. It's not true! The average temperature during summers is maybe 20 C (68 F) but sometimes, temperature can reach 40 C (104 F) and more. The average temperature for winter is - 20 C (-4 F) but again, it may reach -40 C! (-40 F) I already seen -44 C!
