Hi, well done on your first BAT

 

I like the smaller buildings, but the stonework of the larger University-like building doesn't blend in with them. The different paving textures are off-putting and the tarmac road in the middle is just not right. 

 

Very promising start, but a little more continuity would make this a definite for me. I like the idea of stimulating college and University demand too. I guess the idea is to stimulate wealth and high tech industry?

I sorry, I dont download, but I see from picture that all buildings or props are maxis, It is LOT or you really create something new, If it is LOT why you didnt put into LOTs category?

Thank you, I appreciate the comment on the paving textures and will keep that in mind.

 

Overall the idea was to create a dense lot to replace/help with the overcrowding in the Maxis "Large High School" since I had to plop 5 or 6 of them around my downtown in a 500-600k pop city. Stimulating the I-HT and CO-$$/$$$ was key. Having the kind of effect on my city colleges/universitys doubling in demand was sort of unplanned, but I tweaked things so it wasn't too crazy of an increase.

 

Note: in the future I will be redoing this school for a V 2.0 with actual custom content. I somewhat intended for this version to be a good way to see what others thought and tweak as needed. I have a background in Revit, 3ds, and Rhino so I have already modeled roughly 25-30 test buildings that are in the works! :D

Just to keep things organized, I've moved this to the 'lot' category.  For future reference, BATs are custom buildings that you have created using the BAT tool.  As far as lots go, this is a good start.  Thanks for sharing.
