I'm a Chicagoan, and I just had a couple of comments. First, the roof IS black, I tracked down this pic: http://www.arch.uiuc.edu/aa/351/Chicago/Fall2000/Seun/searsroofhatchopen.jpg

Second, I don't doubt, that the height and width are scaled properly, but are you sure that the tops of the "steps" are scaled also? It may just be the angle, but it looks like the top segment is bit too short.

Third, I would be very interested in an updated version with better textures and night lighting. Did you do the entrance stucture? And can it be edited in lot editor?

Fourth and Finally, I'm glad there a Sears Tower to be gotten, and I'm sorta ticked that Maxis has never made a Sears in sc2000, 3000, or 4. It's only the tallest building in the world!

(no the Petronas Towers don't count! If they count that stupid spire, then we should count the antenna holders which are fixed and were part of the original building plan.)

Hate to be nitpicky mujen... but "could have had a better description"... are you kidding me? And "does not look scaled to the foot." Don't know what to say... it is? Take the model and check it yourself, each bundled tube is 75x75 and the total height is 1450.

Despite what ed_diaz says (and no offense to him), i like your sears tower much more than his. Very good job!! The one thing i might suggest, which might be too complex to do, is to make the building appear to have relections on them, like the real sears tower does in the picture above. :P

I love this one much better personally, it looks smoother and more fitting-in. I'm SOO glad there aren't reflections though. Those make it look horribly out of place in SC4.

Hey, and for the people complaining about the scale, perhaps you should do as much paranoid research into SimCity 4 and the BAT as you do to the details of this building. The isometric viewpoint makes everything appear squashed.

awsome, although i wont use it permanently in my city, i will download it and use it to measure up my other buildings. you did a perfect job, i just wont use it because its too well known of a landmark for my fiction based city. 10

Ed_Diaz: I love all of your buildings, but I think it was innappropriate to over-react like that. I think yours looks better but just remember, this is a 1,450ft tall building. This must have taken forever to make and the export would have take 10-15 hours. Great Job! Update it! Give it jobs!
