Your idea is really nice, but we have gotten used to a much higer standard of detailing and texturing, so I fear the models will be received with doubtfull reactions.

I would say: start a BAT thread and show your developments. Lots of people will be friendly and help you with tips and suggestions.

My advise, if you want continues, you should create many small BATs (house or any small building) and dont start with big project like me (very bad idea). You gain some experience( skill with work in 3dmax or gmax) and then you could start something like this, of course  previous comment is true, too. good luck with your next works.

Its about time somebody started making Ecuadorian buildings

the buildings standars on simtropolis are vey high. as FrankU said start a bat thread and ask for help from the pro batters so you can create quality bats.

Over the years, There has been a lot of incredible buildings created for download, There has also been crap. Ive seen buildings that were 95% MAXIS creations & the only difference to them is that some jerk off changed the tile look in front of the building to grass & then wanted to be told how great of a job he had done. This how ever, is Good. In fact I would say that from a person who does not know how to create BAT's but loves this game, its very good . The suggestions you got on here may be accurate when coming from a seasoned BAT creator, & to reach their level of work, they are right. But from my side of the fence, it looks great! 

 

PS : include buildings stats next time. : JOBS, PLOP or GROW, OFFICE or RETAIL etc.
