Bransfield House  1.0

About This File

Second in my line of realistic low-wealth housing is "Bransfield House," a mammoth structure that is a replica of a building in Toronto.

This set contains 2 lots, a 3x8 and a 7x8 version. Both are ploppable (since they are too large to grow) and function as R$.

Each lot houses 2000 R$ sims, and is priced at a $15000 plop cost.

All required plugins are included in the zip, including 3 custom props.

Much time and effort was put into making this building as realistic as possible. Please rate accordingly.

I mostly made it to mimic reality, not for functionality. Unfortunately djhigbee, it's too big to be growable. billou79, they won't abandon if you have enough residential demand to sustain them (I think...)

Actually, it's not a problem of residential demand; the sims are "trapped" inside the building and can't get out to find a job, leading ultimately to the building being abandonned

I downloaded this building (and Crumbly which works great btw) and it look really good. However I also experience the abandonment problem even in a city with high demand for housing and excellent transport links. I hope it can be fixed, it's too good a building not to!

And what about cutting it in 2 ??? Landmarks are good but functionnal buildings are so much better !!!

Cutting it in two wouldn't work if you want it to be growable (the two halves would be seperated)

Anyways, I just PMed RalphaelNinja, and he says that if you want these to work properly, you must zone R first, wait til houses grow, and THEN plop it on top.

Great Work! , but for my SC4 the building needs a higher "Capacity Satisfied". There are not so much R$ Sims in my cities ;-). Thanks f

Excellent. Very depressing! Looks just like the housing around the Elephant & Castle area in South East London.

every time i download it, winzip says that it cannot open the file. if anyone has a working copy, can you email it to admin@planetmobius.com, please? now, my rating for the building: GRADE A! I've seen that huge apartment building and i can't believe how realistic it is!
