The model looks fine at a glance (in the small picture), but when you enlarge it you can see there's a lot missing. I think you could have put much more effort into the finer detailing and the overall result would have been much more successful if you'd used actual textures - as opposed to flat colours. On the plus side, the dimensions look roughly correct if you ignore the roof junk.

What you've got there is a good BAT in the making, it's just a pity that you didn't finish it.

when the file size is just 385.66KB, yet the lot is size is large (@ 8x10), you sense something is very wrong, LOL

Hope uploader will continue to master the skills and bring us downloadble stuff. I can't imagine anybody would find this useful consider there are other far superior IKEA lots done before.

Let me encourage you to continue. This model can be greatly improved by texturing, including the night lights in the parking lot and lighted window textures. You could easily update this lot as version 2.

P.S. Textures are not hard to make. Just make sure they will tile properly (tessellate). You can actually create them with MS-Paint, or you can cut a chunk out of a photo.

I like the model, but not the rooftextures, they spoil the whole thing. You need to make it more "used" looking. Maybe next time, good start on the model though!

Everyone else said it- The model is fine but the textures aren't the greatest. When adding realistic textures sometimes adding faint grungy, weathered details will make the entire package look more realistic

Work on adding better textures, then, update this one with it. I'm sure you'l get better ratings.
