About This File

Hi, I’m back with the new edited Seaport Storage Area 1. Sorry about last time, the building was suddenly yanked off. Same stats as before= This lot is ploppable and is found in the landmarks menu. I took about 12 minutes on this and will probably make a version 2. It requires no power and no water. It has a landmark effect of 30 over a range of 18 and has a YIMBY (Yes In My Back Yard) mayor rating effect of 5 over a radius of 256. It is a high wealth building and is 4X7. I added a few things. I included an extra file of the seaport storage that can be placed only on land (there is also the sea version).

HOPE YOU ENJOY!!:read:

TBH, the entire composition doesn't make any sense to me. Aircraft and hangars plus a tower on a seaport storage area, a driveway to the parking lot that ends on the runway (?), plus I can't even tell which side is supposed to face the street. Add to this the fact that it's high wealth and has a YIMBY effect (Yes, everyone wants to live right next to container stacks and oil tanks, right?), and you have a final result that doesn't really know what it actually wants to be. Not to mention that I would put a fence around such facilities. I appreciate your interest in the LE and your willingness to share creations, but you should probably spend more than 12 minutes on your next one.

James please open a thread and please look at other similar creations with higher ratings. Airplanes and hangars with out a runway are useless. This a storage area and not an airport. Listen to T Wrecks he has years of experience and is a true master.

Hi, James Kevin!

I know a lot of these EXPERIENCED GUYS from here are not agree with your ideas. Even if your LOT's are not so great as some of the people would expect to be, I appreciate your work! I do these kind of LOT's too, and you can see them at my content. I know what it means to make this kind of LOT, and to try to share it with so much excitement, and to realize that some of the people just spit on your work! I understand what you feel!

Can I give you some advice? If your planing to continue creating classic MAXIS style LOT's, please give more attention to details.

Do you use to modify the LOT properties too? Or you just design them?

I will not use your LOT to my cities, but I appreciate your work!

Are o lot of MAXIS style LOT with less dependencies fans, so keep doing what you have started!
