This dependency list [i]cannot[/i] be correct. Why would you need the model file (!) for a skyscraper like International Commerce Center? SimGoober's grocery stores and melon farm? Why would you need CP Prop Pack Vol.01, when you already have CP MEGA Props Vol.01, which contains the former pack? The resource file for Peg's CDK?

How is anybody supposed to find such files? A STEX search will yield no results, because the DATs are often part of a download with a different name. You haven't provided any links, and I suspect you couldn't, even if you wanted.

[i]merged.dat[/i] is a long outdated file that's known for being potentially problematic. Where did you find it, anyway?

The lot isn't bad, but you really, really need to get your act together. I suspect that when you made these, you used your regular plugins folder you play with, and that this plugins folder is a mess.

You really need to make a new, fresh, empty plugins folder when you create something. Then you add only the stuff that you really need. You must make sure that you know where all these dependencies come from, and that you can provide a link to them.

You should test your dependency list by using your newly created lot in a sandbox region, with a plugins folder that contains nothing, absolutely, totally and entirely nothing than the dependency packs you linked to, not a singly file more. Only if this works out without problems are you ready for an upload.

Another thing to bear in mind is "dependency discipline", as you could call it. For example, if there are five trees on the lot, try to use five trees from [i]one[/i] dependency pack, and not five trees that each come from different dependency packs.

If you make railyard/industrial stuff, try to restrict the dependencies to all-purpose packages and packages that are related to railway & industry. Try to avoid packages for scenic boardwalks, farms or marinas just because you had to use that particular trashcan. Rather try to find a trashcan among the stuff you're using anyway.

In short, make sure that you control your plugins, and not the other way around.

As I said, your lot works are certainly not bad, and you managed to use that old Maxis stuff rather well, but due to the dependency chaos, I cannot recommend downloading this.

This is really a pity, so I hope that you'll manage to get a grip of your plugins, and that we'll see a v 2.0 on the STEX - with a somewhat shorter and better documented dependency list, this lot should do much better!

These lots are really good looking, but please shorten the dependency list!

The lots look really good I could use them in my cities but try to get some help in the forum to organize your dependency cocktail.

Like countless people have said in the comment sections of your first three uploads, listing dependencies like this is unacceptable. Unfortunately, if you can't learn to use dependencies in an effective way (refer to T Wrecks’ posts) your uploads may become unapproved.

What T-Wrecks says is true. The dependent list doesn't make sense. This is what people hate. Many of these dat files are contained in 'megapacks' but without the proper names of these files, many people will give up.

2)Maxis double track??? really?
If you were going to all the trouble for realism sake, you couldn't try the "Railyard" textures I made for realistic industrial rail work like this?

I may be a little bit biased on this issue, but I hate Maxis double track for this type of stuff.([i]no rating given[/i])

Nach dem ihr alle auf das Werk von "MRFloh" eingeschlagen habt, würde mich jetzt interessieren, funktioniert diese Fabrik?

Zu den Abhängigkeiten: Es sind sehr viele, jedoch komme ich nicht auf 50MB. Die große Masse liegt in den Mega-Props, und diese sind mehrmalig funktional.
Die vielen kleinen Anhäng sind einzeln herunter zu laden - http://torrentz.eu - eine solche Datei hat nur ca. 200 KB. Diese auch je nach Geschmack zu entfernen sind. Alles im allem; 3,6MB oben drauf.

Sicherlich bin ich nicht versiert, aber ich bin an dem Werk von "MrFloh" interessiert. Darum folgende Fragen:

Wieviele Arbeitsplätze bietet diese Fabrik?
Welche Art Arbeitsplätze?
Welchen Umfang hat diese Fabrik? ? x ?
Was für einen Verbrauch an Resourchen?
Welche Umweltbelastungen bringt diese Fabrik?
Ist sie eine Kopie oder Fantasie? Wenn Kopie, wo steht diese Fabrik? ...Hintergrund - Informationen.
