It is a mediterranean 2x2 R$$ growable Suburban Homestead. It is named after an Indian tribe, that used to live in Arizona...I think...well...eeeh; so you can use it for example for your recreation of Phoenix or other warmer cities like LA.

It is the 4th contribution to my Suburban Houses Pack.

More about my project at my BAT thread:

Installation: Unzip in your Plugins folder.

Dependencies:

BSC Textures Mega Pack Vol. 1     http://kurier.simcityplaza.de/details.php?file=54
SFBT Essentials Dezember 201      http://kurier.simcityplaza.de/details.php?file=5

Please note: This is not the final version of this model. When ever there is any potential for improvements, I'll exploit it and uplode my results.

Eh, I wouldn't say beautiful, but it isn't too bad. The roof texture/mapping looks rather odd and the night lighting on the large glass back really doesn't look good either. At the very least, you have a thread in which you can get advice. I suggest you get as much as possible before uploading something.

Eh, I would, you just don't understand southwest American architecture, this is beautiful for accuracy! I think this is really something I'd find useful. And for roof texture, do you live in Canada? Most Mediterranean houses have this roof.

The roof texture and mapping is badly in needs like simhottoddy says. Glad you have a building thread where we can help. Model is better.

It is not the texture specifically at fault (although some additional treatment would have been preferred), it is that the texture is not uniform across the home, nor is it really scaled properly at any point. This is not a question of what it is supposed to be, but a statement about how it was presented.

People make me out to such a villain in my attempt to help. Perhaps I should just embrace it and actually start being mean! Nah, that would take the fun out of crushing the logic of the people who complain about me ;) Carry on constructive criticizers for the good of the community! For the good of one and all STEX goers!

Please be fair and stop concentrating at the roof only. There are more aspects like the chimney, the pool, the fassade, the windows, the big studio glas front in the atrium... and don't forget my Bat thread, where you can carp at it, as much as you want ; )

This creation had so much promise. Too bad you didn't listen to the advice others gave you in your development thread. I could have given a 4 or 5 rating instead of a 3 (average).

I listened to everything they told me, dude. I made it higher (in z direction...), I adapted the roof size, I intruded the windows, I "polygoned out" all roof sides and retextured them, i blured and softened the textures...and finally...lol...I created an atrium pool...there weren't more advises so far...so what are your further advises??

You say not to focus on the roof, but look at those pictures at the top of this page, and tell me what part of your house is the most visible feature? If your roof isn't good, and that is the feature that is most visible in game, even if the rest was impeccable (which it isn't) what is going to matter to the user most?

One thing at a time. When you fix one, I shall move to the next. I don' want to overwhelm anyone, as the BAT can do that on its own ;) Just keep using your thread and I'll stop by. Oh, and I would never tell anyone to uninstall the program, if I can do it, anyone can. Just look at the first few posts in my BAT thread, I had many of the same problems!

Yes, this was just ironically^^...I began working at a new homestead, with a more "simple" form...so i can concentrate at the proportions and textures. Remember the roof of the "blackfoot"...it was pretty okay, except for the sides, that weren't adapted; but I haven't been informed about this technic then. Thx for support!

I am not a designer, but I think this is very nice. Your other houses look pretty good to me as well.
