About This File

The building was the first major building on the Vienna Ringstraße commissioned by the controversial Viennese "city expansion fund". Work commenced on the building in 1861 and was completed in 1869, following plans drawn up by architects August Sicard von Sicardsburg and Eduard van der Nüll, who lived together in the 6. Bezirk. It was built in the Neo-Renaissance style.

Looks nice but could need better textures and some more details. The roof doesn't look realistic, but still good effort on the model, if you built it.

I think the textures are fine. I might have done somthing different with the lot but it's a really great addition I think to any game. 5/5.

There are a lot of great things about this bat, but the roof basically kills it. It is just unbearably and dominantly clean, not a good thing when the lot is so large. The lot also can be improved (look at the structure standing on the green grass). Anyway the effort is there, so I will give 4/5.

I assume this works as a museum if it is a civic bat, so can you give more stats, lot size, etc? For partial roof details, take a look at this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vienna_State_Opera

As what they have said before me...the roof does look too clean and maybe too green. But the effort you have put into this lot makes up for the losses so 5/5

well, it really has minimal resemblance of actual building. it's funny to see "bigger means better" mentality in person making one of the great European opera houses. So, I don't think it is fair to call it Vienna State Opera. My be some fantasy opera building, but not Vienna one. Apart from that I would also say it's biggest problem is a pillow for a roof. But generally this is quite solid model! 4/5

It looks more or less like the state opera, I would reccomend you to use some real life pictures or take a look at the real building at bing maps....
