Yes, today is telescope sale day. ESO's Very Large Telescope is sited on Cerro Paranal at 2635m, high in the Atacama Desert, Chile. Known to be one of the dryest places on our earth with some places having no living history of rain. I think one will need their water bottle here.

This is a real world map and measures 40.96km x 28.672km. It's in 16bits and .SC4M format. Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer is required to import it into one's game. This was produced with DEM and satellite data and is terrain and scale accurate.
