Actually I like your idea. Perhaps you can take out the building, widen your lot size, plop the truck props further apart and add some trees. It should look good. (:

Honestly when I think of A Truck Stop the first things that come to mind isn't tall Palm Trees with A Fountain next to A five story building with Trucks parked like two feet from each other.It's totally unrealistic not even in A Coastal town or even A Rich area either.What it looks like is an Office Building with A bunch of Semi Trucks parked in the Parking Lot.

Why is there an office building at the truck stop???

"Costs under $5,000". What does it cost? $4,999, probably. That's way too much - the Maxis car park is $1,000, to put it into perspective.

I see truck stops and they are, sometimes, these huge, open spaces with maybe a shed and a small building. This, sadly, is not quite a truckyard. I still don't get the office building.

The smoke is coming from smokestacks nearby, it appears.

I can see the office building being a terminal, however this isn't a trucking company, it's a truck stop. The trucks should have been further apart and there should be a smaller building that the one you used.
