France isnt that mountainous, excluding the area near the Alps, the areas that are flat are to flat, picture of the whole region would be very nice.

would you stop complaining it is hard enough to find satilite images but now i have to deal with the complaining.

the STEX is open to opinions, good and bad, unless they're being outright rude (which un1 wasn't) If you can't take the very mild heat, get outta the kitchen... btw there are people around that can help you source quality satellite images, just ask the question...

I think it's good work. I don't see why everyone on the STEX has to be so critical of other people's work. Not everyone is a master at making maps. 5/5 :P

It is a great idea to cover up countries in underscale. Yet I think your maps are still improvable. Seems to me you hand-terraformed the mountains? It's more accurate when you use digital elevation models. I'd recommend you US GTOPO30 in 1km (30arc seconds) resolution. You find it here: http://eros.usgs.gov/#/Find_Data/Products_and_Data_Available/gtopo30_info

I like this map because you didn't say it was 99% accurate. Its a good fantasy map imo.

Seems like you forgot about a lot of major rivers too

i did not entirely for get it only picked up a few. i need a satilite image if u have one post the site id at the top of the page then i will do my best. can i ask why do you want a map of iran we are at war with them?

"we are at war with them" What a ridiculous thing to say... have some common sense, this is an international site including Iranians, And check out the quality of un1's map on the front page of the STEX, I can't imagine they're giving you bad advice.

"we are at war with them"...wise, meaningful, thoughtful statement...especially in a site that is focused around a computer game.Please use some common sense, politics doesn't matter here. I believe it might be a good idea to give some full-size images of the rendered regions.
