About This File

This is my first lot. I'm not good at making BATs, so I'm just creating custom lots. My lots are neither good nor bad-since they are just created by the LOT EDITOR. I know that with only lot editor, a spectacular lot cannot be created. This lot is not spectacular either, just a smaller parking lot. (sorry for my English skills since I'm from Korea). The stats are same from the default 3x3parking lot. As you know, the directory is My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins. En......joy.^^ You can modify this freely since this is created by Lot Editor.

I've changed a litttttttttle bit of the Lot ^

Not bad for a first lot, but it is not spectacular. By the way, spectacular lots can be created by the Lot Editor, practice makes perfect!

@ John_Lennon: And who are you to judge that? I have downloaded many custom lots, and I am constantly using them. Would you please leave the decision what a player "needs" and what he doesn't need to each individual player instead of posting your opinion as if it was a general rule? Thanks.

@Eggy: Please don't mind stupid generalizations like "you cannot make a good lot with the LE alone" - that counts double if they come from people who have never ever made anything themselves and clearly don't know what they are even talking about.

Just filter the STEX display to "Lots" only, and see the top-rated ones, their download figures, and the comments, and you will see that custom lots ARE a valuable asset if they are good.

Now to your lot - a smaller parking garage can be useful, so the idea is good. I wouldn't put trees on top of it, though. Trees cannot grow out of conrete. Instead, I'd add some pavement under the cars that are parked on the grass at ground level. A little hint: You can hide the unused barrier with some shrubs and bushes.

Last but not least, the entrance road ends at a wall. You can simulate an entrance here with one of the maxis props. It's called something with "repair" - I don't remember the exact name. Basically, this prop is an entrance to a car repair shop, and it exists in several widths. I've used it frequently to fake an entrance. ;)

I have made good lots with the Lot Editor, i was tired of my road busstops (there was a shelter on each side of the road on 1 single tile), so i removed one of the shelters, and now i'm more happy with my busstops. - Just because of the Lot Editor :D

T Wrecks: I admire you being so detailed in your comments, but no offense, the uploader is from Korea. I doubt he/she will take your words to heart. That said, this lot isn't ugly, but not really overly useful.

There's nothing wrong with posting detailed comments especially as its not just the uploader that may benefit from it. But Eggy you need to post an ingame picture with your upload, because it shows your lot works properly in the game, and also that it fits well with other lots. File locked, you may unlock it when you have added the ingame picture. Thanks.

Lol my comment disappeared^^ And you don't need to tell stories to the other T Wrecks, there are many "parking lots", we don't need another.

slightly harsh just locking the file like that! and if you put your mind to it, you can make some pretty good lots on lot editor if you put your mind to it! and that ones not to bad to be honest.

@John_Lennon: You weren't referring to this particular lot, you claimed that it's not possible to create good stuff with the LE only, that's quite a different story. And speaking of "stories", would you kindly leave it to me where I comment and what I write, and to the others what use they may find (or not find) in my comments? Thank you so much.
