About This File

I hope I'm not the only one who hates how utopian the Maxis plazas look, so this is the first in a bunch of improved plazas that I plan to make and post. Notice I have gotten rid of the palm trees and the light concrete, and placed garbage around for a 'ghetto' feel.
First installment in the 'Ghett(o) Real' series.
My first lot, constructive critisism is great!
No dependencies.
Same stats as the Maxis plaza.

hey, I like the general concept, but could you include some stats? If it's as "ghetto" as you claim, I don't want to lower my cities stats for the sake of being realistic. I also loathe the Maxis plazas.

I LOVE the "Ghetto" Concept! I find it exteremly hard to create a 'bad' neighborhood in my cities! Hopefuly this will help!

"Ghetto" plus carefully kept flowerbeds and marble fountains? And what about that driveway that's running in a circle around the fountain and leads nowhere? Sorry, this doesn't look very sensible to me. Not to mention the lack of information about stats and a screenshot taken during a time of day that makes it hard to judge the actual look...

The only thing missing are burning oil drums and crack needles strewn around, lol! Good work! although I won't download it as my cities are "clean" . 5/5 for the concept!!

Saying something is ANTI-utopian or "ghetto" doesn't make it so. There is absolutely nothing of that in that plaza...

thats really stupid, you could have called it low wealth plaza... "Ghetto" is just slang for the "projects" or in my opinion, lower wealth areas of the city.

The picture makes it rather hard to judge the lot...and really besides removing palm trees and using "dirtier" base textures what has been done to create a lower wealth feel of this lot?

I love that antiutopian idea. Call it low wealth or ghetto, who cares, you download "as is". Flowers and low wealth may well go together.
