Finally, After 4 years of wrestling with the problem of not being able to get my game to accept my custom regions and numerous problems with the SC4 Terraformer, I finally got the thing to work right last night. This is the second in the reintroduced line of regions of the state of Indiana. The Region of Southwestern Indiana in which the county where I live (Gibson) is located.
Southwestern Indiana is a 11-county region of Indiana located at the southernmost and westernmost part of the state. As of the 2000 census, the region's combined population is 465,338. Evansville is the largest city and the regional hub for a tri-state area which includes Kentucky and Illinois. Other regional hubs include Jasper and Princeton Vincennes and Washington.
This region also includes portions of Illinois and Kentucky as well, perfect if you want a region in three states. The Southwesternost City Block is where the Wabash River empties into the Ohio River and where Illinois, Indana, and Kentucky meet.
I am planning (now that I got that schticking terraformer to work) to reintoduce the entire series as regions over the coming months. Next up in the series is the region I am currently working on, Indianapolis, Indiana.
