Quantum Power Plant  0.95

About This File

This sci-fi power plant uses four focued quantum dishes to create a quantum singularity and, um, generate electricity from it.

Monthly Cost: 15,000

Power Generated: 200,000 MWh/month

Build Cost: 300,000

Pollution effects are minor except for a small amount of radiation. NIMBY effects are moderate, but your Mayor rating takes a hit (-5, who wants to live next door to a ball of glowing energy?) I'll have another version when I can make it conditional.

Requires: bldgprop_vol1.dat, effect_props.dat (this can be found at Gizmo's website)

UPDATE: Cost to build up to 300k, monthly cost up to 15k - but power output also up to 200k. Now has jobs and the radiation is properly placed. All effects more balanced. Readme now includes detailed info.

Known bugs: - Nuclear explosion not working

- Effects take a while to show up (not a bug?)

- not yet conditional

Gizmo's website is http://gizmo.lunarpages.com/ He has pulled most of the effects in the game that were not already props and made them props. I definently recommend it!

Not only is it redundant to package files used by multiple lots in every file - but since the effects I used were someone else's work I wouldn't feel right in packaging them with my file. For Gizmo's website - check my comments above for the link.

Effect not showing up for a while are not a bug, i made them show up after jan 1st, so if u plop the lot before then the calendar had to go past jan 1st for effects to show up

"Description: This sci-fi power plant uses four focued quantum dishes to create a quantum singularity" Dont use the word "quantum" nor "singularity" if u dont know what it mean. Thats plain funny

i think 200k MWh is a little exaggerating dont you think? i mean the whole concept is obviously possible. obviously...(10 anyway)

What are the dependencies for this? I installed it but apparently not all of the grapics came with it or at least did not show.
