About This File

Ok, before I say anything, I will give credit to where it is due. These awesome BATs belong to dragonanime, and are in no way, shape, or form, my creation. I merely took two of the buildings that he uploaded, and put them on one lot. I really love these two buildings and have been wanting to try my hand at lotting and uploading to the STEX. I hope you all like it! If any dependencies are not listed here, please let me know. SC4Tool has not been working for me, lately. Btw, this is my first upload here at ST since I joined in Jan. '06. :D

YES! Tasteful combination of BATs, and a lot design that's quite cool. In a double meaning, actually: good and, well, rather modern and a tad sterile. Which is not bad for a modern commercial plaza, but rather authentic and realistic. Please keep going and release more stuff, you really seem to be talented! And you seem to have a unique style, too.

Thank you guys so much for the positive feedback! I am glad to see all of those thumbs in the upright position! ;) @Cheese89: I agree, it is a bit large. I meant this to be a sort of "centerpiece" for a large city. Although I definitely wouldn't recommend plopping more than one of these in your cities! ;) Thank you for the CONSTRUCTIVE criticism!

@Everyone: I believe, although no one has said anything yet, that this lot requires a Cerulean Texture pack. I am not sure, however. Could someone run a dependency scan in SC4Tool for me and PM me the results, to make sure I have everything listed? SC4Tool and Vista aren't getting along. I would greatly appreciate it! ;)

@ Psychoteddy: Why not simply empty your plugins folder (except for this lot and the props it requires) and make a test plop? If something is missing, then you know a texture dependency escaped you. If this is the case, copy the BSC Textures Mega Pack Vol.01 into your plugins folder and see if it fixes the issue (this pack contains the Cerulean textures, among others). Sometimes the primitive solutions are the most robust and dependable ones... ;o)

@ T wrecks: I like the solution, but I have so many plugins (1.5GB) now that it would make it quite an undertaking to do so. I think I will put SC4Tool on a flash drive and use my University's computers to do dependency scanning from now on... :) But thank you for the suggestion!

@ Everyone: I just want to thank you all once again for the wonderful feedback and advice that you have contributed! I will continue to do some lotting, and am attempting to work the BAT, but that is quite a bit harder. My policy is not to upload until it is considered adequate quality, no hurried or rushed projects from me! ;)

now this is how two great bats should be combined in one lot. i've seen lots of "patchwork" bats and this is the only one that has been well-thought and well combined! good job!
