About This File

A sucessful attempt to change the default game traffic light configuration. After testing, it will NOT cause problems with the NAM, so that is why this is a LOT file.  It was to get the lights to work on the same pole, at different heights, and to see if they would react properly across from each other. It seems they do, so long this LOT is placed with roads crossing through You can find it in the misc transit menu. The street lighting and the traffic lights DO work. Just make sure you place roads through, if its by itself, all of the lights will get stuck on green, but you don't want another repeat of live free or die hard, and the italian job, do you? You will notice that this looks quite similar to the California style intersection. Unfortanetly, it had to be changed, because I didn't want dependencies to be an issue. As far as dependencies, I don't think there is an issue, I just used a regular base road texture, and a plain road overlay.  Oh yeah, I don't recomend you open the file yourself in the LOT Editor.

It doesn't. In fact, thats the only thing in this picture thats not true. I didn't want it to be a copy of the California Style one, so at the last minute, I changed the texture. THE REAL TEXTURE IS TWO DOUBLE YELLOW LINED BLACK ROADS. Credit to Rean2 for originally coming up with lighted road intersections at this site.

Hmm, it would be better if it would match the road textures, but nevertheless nice idea.

It's a good attempt, but I would try to do a better job of finding an intersection texture.

I wanted to have a plain black, no lines texture, if possible, but now, theres some challenges. I didn't know the NAM would draw the turn lane through. So when I noticed it did, I then realized the intersection needed to be bigger. The corners are a challenge to fix since the NAM makes the roads wider with the turn lanes.

the textures dont match on 3 of 4 sides, but besides that, you did a good job modding testing lotting etc. that ambulance proves it. 7/10

Nice, Ive been waiting for something like this. You couldnt perhaps make a mod that doesn't turn everything into traffic lights, cause in real life not every intersection is a traffic light, some are just stop signs. Thanks.

The other thing, I'm trying to make a Road to Road Intersection with just stop signs, but bigger ones you can read. Its not like theres going to be a traffic light at 2 roads crossing in the middle of a subdivison.

Next upload after July 4th, the stop sign road intersection as requested, with bigger, readable signage, both 2-way, and 4-way.
