IVM Invermere Lake

Invermere Lake is the latest release under the IVM (Invermere Valley Maps) moniker. Only Stormshoe Valley remains. Invermere Lake presents quite the challenge to the user with regards to building, however the end result will be fantastic. With only 3x3 large tiles, there is a pretty good chance of playing the map to completion. The scenery is unmatched, and the hand terraformed lake (JPlumbley) is impossible to miss! The origins of this map can be traced back to this map (Invermere Valley), a 12x12 monster containing some of the most challenging and realistic terrain in SC4. Download the original for a real challenge!

The Columbus Terrain Textures were used when opening/saving the city tiles in game, but any terrain mod can used to do the same. For custom snow levels and rock angles, I have included a custom copy of the main file in the Columbus Textures. Simply replace the default file with the one included in the package.

The PEG Limestone Rock Mod was used when opening/saving the city tiles in game, but any rock mod can used to do the same.

INSTRUCTIONS

To install SC4M map file:

1. If you don't already have SC4Mapper, download it here and follow the install instructions.
2. Unzip this file.
3. Run SC4Mapper, click on 'create region'
4. Choose SC4M
5. Browse to the unzipped folder and point the map file .SC4M
6. Click on 'Save Region' and name i

A fantastic map I immediatly imported intop the game and there it even looks more astounishing. With Skarzoz having MD over on SC4Devotion this map will get even more attention and I am sure it is heading to "classic" status rapidly.

yo, when you make a map, just use the damn greyscale. not only is your install process annoyingly unnecessary, but MACs cant use it at all!

MrFingers - I'm really glad that your comment has to do with the quality of the map (/end sarcasm). It's not really my problem you don't have the resources to do anything worthwhile with your time. Go do some "video editing" or whatever the MAC commercial is touting.

Yo, MrFingers. When I make a map it is for quality! SC4TF means quality, maybe you should get with the times, instead of being so 1990, and get a PC. If you had asked nicely then I would have given you a Greyscale... After warning you that the map wont look the same, because you loose about 30x resolution using greyscale from SC4M files. So, maybe next time instead of expecting us to do something for you, you can realize we gave this as a gift to the community spending our own time for free.
