About This File

Noah's Ark was a vessel built (Dim. 133.50x22.30x13.40 m.) at God's command to save Noah, his family, and a core

stock of the world's animals from the Great Flood. The story is contained in the Hebrew Bible, Christian Old

Testament's book of Genesis, chapters 6 to 9.

The story of Noah's Ark, according to chapters 6 to 9 in the Book of Genesis, begins with God observing man's evil

behaviour and deciding to flood the earth and destroy all life. However, God found one good man, Noah, "a righteous

man, blameless among the people of his time", and decided that he would carry forth the lineage of man. God told

Noah to make an ark, and to bring with him his wife, and his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and their wives.

Additionally, he was told to bring examples of all animals and birds, male and female. In order to provide

sustenance, he was told to bring and store food.

From a water displacement standpoint, a flat bottom boat holds much more weight than any other design of watercraft. This is why just about every freight carrying ship has a large, flat hull. Just my two cents. - Creathir

A worthless bit of data that merely wastes of hard drive space. 1/10. I suggest making a better description (I.E. TELL US WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO), give us better screenshots and make darn sure that building looks like a good amount of effort has been made. We already have plain boxes.

Umm...giving this a 4 because I think the whole story you put in there was directly from Wikipedia, this is Simtropolis, and the picture is bad. I know it's supposed to be a boat but it looks like you took the Byall Means Travel Agency and made a brown box on top of it. And if this vaguely resembles a boat, it looks a heck of a lot more like a train station that doesn't have any tracks. However, since you did a better job than I've ever done or (probably) will ever do, you get a 4. Keep trying!

Nobody should bash this for it's meaning. But as so, have you ever looked at a picture of what it looked like? This isn't a boat, it looks more like an airship hanger attached to a large box. But you will get better hopefully. Just keep trying and don't let atheists try to bring you down. Becuase it won't matter in the end what they believe. Believe in yourself and in God. And yeah try harder next time.

I agree with ace about its meaning. It's in the bible, yes it is. Does it look like the ark? no.

Actually, the Bible describes it as being a rectangular box so it would withstand the rains and flood. Impressed by this gives you a higher rating from me than your textures alone would have done.

Eh, it doesn't really look like a boat, just a brown box thing... I'm sure this is one of your first BAT's tho, so I'll give it a 5 for effort. Keep trying :)

Is that really a ship??? It kind of looks like a box in which the ship was delivered to Noah! ;)

It looks like one bax with a wooden texture and one half elipse with a steel texture That would only take a few minutes to make.

Big Brown Box with something sticking outta the side. This is lamer than Maxis's "missing Prop" brown box. Epic Fail 0/10 if I could rate that low.

It looks pretty bad, but you guys shouldn't be knocking on it for it "Not looking like a ship".. I've seen proposed pictures of what Noah's Arc was supposed to look like (Assuming it existed; don't get me wrong, I'm not a christian) and, it indeed resembled an enormous wooden-rectangle. At least you didn't make it look like a gigantic timber Titanic.

I think, though, I cannot be for certain, that this is supposed to be a museum with the boat inside??? None the less
