About This File

note: I am the same guy as patriots_1228

111 huntington avenue, part of the prudential center in boston, is one of(in my opinion) the coolest buildings in the boston skyline. sitting in the shadow of the prudential tower, this building is popular for its rooftop "crown".  built in the 1990s, this building is the most notable of the new buildings in boston.

This building has no dependencies
1000 simoleans to plop
50 to mantain
50 to bulldoze
consumes 30 power and 10 water

Special thanks to: Simfox, because without all the negitive comments you've given me i would never have inproved, plus you also introduced me to google earth as a BAT tool.
lrfox-for being a goto guy when i needed info on the building.
and all who have commented in my BAT thread or helped me out.

ENJOY!

How accurate is it ? it seems to me that the glass is too dark. Is it just me ? Until somebody proove me wrong and confirm that it is only my wrong imression of its texture, I'm giving it a 7 for great work.

o the galss is jsut the angle i took it from. to see some pictures of the real one check out my thread. finding a glass textures kinda hard for this one cause ive seen it light blue, navy, dark blue, blue. it all depends on the angle.

Does the rest of the building have night lighting? it looks pretty good, but its hard to tell from the pictures you have provided.

I understand it was a landmark. Did you intend to make a growable version of this nice looking tower?

you got the look of it right, that's for sure. and it looks like it was scaled ok too. you're definitely doing well. keep working at the BAT and you'll soon be producing stuff at the same quality as the best BATTers

I don't know what it is, but something about the base doesn't sit right with me. That said, the roof is very very well BATted by the looks of it. I'm not downloading it for reasons of personal taste, but it does show that you have a lot of potential if you work at it. And at least you remembered to include roofjunk :p

Not bad, especially for someone still learning. It could use a few more details on the base like window frames and roof outlines. I'm afraid that the texture you've used on the base glass isn't convincing. The roof equipment could definitely use some more detail (doesn't have to be much but some vents or shapes on the roof stuff would make them appear to be more than just shapes). Anyway, it's not a bad bat for a beginner and with just a little more work it could be quite excellent.

And I am deleting the rest of that argument. The purpose of this system is to leave comments about the upload and not to snipe each other (which includes the uploader).

Nice work, the tower has great details. It's a pity that the base isn't worked out further. 9/10

I see this building a lot being from Boston. Very good, a little more detail and it will be great.
