About This File

Maybe I've watched the movie "Contact" too many times, but besides the fact that there must be other life in the universe, the sattelite dishes are pure eye candy for me, and I'd like to thank Victory and the movie for inspiring me to build the first lot I've ever built. :)

If you're a mayor who believes in the little green men like I do, this mini version of S.E.T.I research is a definite must. Give your sims a chance to get involved in the wonders of the universe and search for traces of alien life with the highest technology...and LOOK! GREAT LOOKING SATTELITE DISHES!!! (giggle)

You'll find this lot in your park and recreation section once you've put it into your game.

Does it create any jobs? If you do a version 2 which has a defined purpose (jobs/park effect etc) I'll give it 10. On a side note I've done over 1200 SETI units :o)

No jobs I bet, as it's a park. And who cares if it has park effects? You can always surround it with open grass areas and have like the effect of three large parks. :/

Looks great, add some jobs or maybe a musuem effect. The real SETI institue arrays have tours. And by the way, they're not green their grey :)

I just read ealier today how "SETI@home" works on http://www.howstuffworks.com/, and if you update it to be either a reward or landmark WITH jobs, I'll download it.

BTW, since this is your first lot (I plan to upload one eventually) I'll go easy on you. ;)
