Some lower income housing form Velsen-Noord this time. Whole suburbs in bigger and lesser Dutch towns and cities have areas consisting of this kind of housing, which was very common to build in the late 1950’s. Due to shortages caused by WWII and driven by a vast demand of new homes, these building were erected very quickly and display a simple design.
