About This File
The Closed Runways and Taxiways pack allows you to close off taxiways and runways to aircraft. The eye candy lots are intended to keep planes off wherever there is an “X” on the tarmac.
This pack adds 6 lots to your airport menu, namely:
Closed Runway
Closed Runway-No Skid Marks
Closed Taxiway
Closed Taxiway-Apron-Side
Closed Taxiway-for within aprons
Closed Apron Lane
There is also a DAT containing the custom textures, DON’T TOUCH IT.
Delete it, you lose the X and it comes in plain.
Explanation
The first maker of a closed runway/taxiway lot was actually Blahdy. He created it for his Walnut Creek International Airport AJ. However, the lots were never released to the public, and a new version of runways and taxiways (RMIP-2 by Voltaire) has been and is currently in the process of being released, and the lots aren’t compatible. That is why I took the time to make this content and release it into the public. All because there was never actually one of these lots before.
Dependencies
There are two dependencies for this file:
RMIP-2 Small Airport Edition Volume 1
RMIP-2 Small Airport Edition Volume 2
Also, SC4 Vanilla+Rush Hour or SC4 Deluxe is needed for this content.
Installation
This contains an .EXE installer for Windows users. To install this content, simply click on the installer file and follow the instructions until installation is complete. This version is called the auto-install version.
For Mac, Linux, UNIX and whatever users, simply non-Windows users, a manual-install version can be found at The Airport Team Manual Install Archive. Just unzip the file into your Plugins folder, and enjoy it in-game!
Un-installation
To un-install this content, simply delete any instances of it in-game, then find the folder where you saved it to in the Plugins folder, and delete it. If you do not delete any instances of it in-game first there will be a major bug for each lot from this content that is plopped… this may result in game crashes, corrupt plug-ins,
