  1. Airport Parking/Storage for Vehicles

Also, I believe PEG's Car Cluster mod is also a dependency here, as it was in previous releases.
  2. USA Speed Limit Sign Prop Pack

EXCELLENT. These look like they're custom scaled so I will certainly use them! =D
  3. Airport Parking/Storage for Vehicles

This is really interesting! Which prop pack are the light poles created in (or did you create them?) I might use them in a set of 777 lots...
  4. Vista Crash to Desktop

I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the city file. Manchester (the city that was one of my original CJs) does not load anymore and SC4 just crashes to desktop, I believe it's related to changing my plugins a lot and not accessing this city since then. Try loading another city, preferably another built-up one.

  9. I was installing GMAX on my new Linux system today and the first thing I noticed is that it does not work very well. After some research I found this article on WineHQ about running GMAX 1.2 on Ubuntu 8.10. I am using an Ubuntu 9.04 system and it's not that much different - so I tried with many different configurations for about 2 hours and this is what I got: GMAX 1.2 on Linux Ubuntu 9.04: WORKING on Wine 1.1.13, using HEIDI software renderer - untried on newer versions of Wine This is what I did to get it working: Download GMAX from Turbosquid. When done, go to the location of the .exe file, right click, and select "Run program in Wine Windows Program Loader." Install as usual on any other machine. Note: an error dialog will come up saying that GMAX did not install properly; ignore this, installation was completed. GMAX might not run properly at first. According to the site I had visited, you must download msvcirt.dll from this site and place it in Wine's "C:\Windows\System32\" directory. Run GMAX for the first time, and register as usual. When selecting your geometry renderer, you MUST choose the HEIDI software Z-buffer - choosing Direct3D crashes GMAX, and while OpenGL allows GMAX to run the viewports are not rendered correctly. GMAX should run properly in Ubuntu Linux. I haven't checked on all the features yet. Possible bugs: Flickering icons Not working: BAT gamepack - Currently testing different configurations. Rendering into SC4 will not work on Linux without BAT working - I would suggest using BAT on Windows to render or arrange nightlights & LODs or letting a different person render for now unless you can manage to get it working. Feel free to report your results here and I will update with time as I try different configurations.
  10. Transportation Safety Project

Awesome, thanks. Also, would it be possible for you to create a more Americanized version of the TSP? Contact me - pilotdaryl@hotmail.com - I might also be able to send you some old development files.
  11. Plane Crashes Into House in NY State

Ryan told me about this before it even hit the news. Sad to see an accident with all lives lost... had it been a larger plane, things could've been worse...
  12. Transportation Safety Project

What settings did you use for the nightlights!? The settings you used make the signs look extremely realistic at night!
