About This File

3 World Financial Center - known as American Express (this known name is from occupant of building company name).
Building was bulid in 1986, near place where was World Trade Center (at now this place is called Ground Zero).
Building have 51 floors, and it's 252.2 meters tall. Designed by Ceasar Pelli and Associaties, this one from the best building in New York City. It's a part of office complex (called - World Financial Center :P). In this complex there are also 2 & 4 (Merill Lyhch) and 1 (Dow Jones and Oppenheimer) WFC.
Near the complex there is also NYMEX Building (unformely known as 5 WFC).
OK. And now a few words about why it's not a complex.
First of all, batting this complex would be impossible (big number of polygons, and - 3-day rendering... :( )
Second: LOT size would be too big for SC4 standards: 24x16... So I've decided to make a single towers.
After release of four main towers you should keep your attention on a STEX, because there is planning add-on pack, where will be placed additional buildings, new LOT design, and base building props.
XDesign Team reccomending to use as Winter Garden a NDEX production which is appear on the STEX (I don't remember name & link - sorry).
I have hope that everybody will be enjoyed of this - because - those buildings was never released by other BATters - and - many people asked about it on ST Forums. Enjoy - Phoenix & Shinnie02.

A piece of masterpiece! :P The model is well detailed and textured. The nightlighting looks other way than usually, can't wait to take a look how does it look ingame.

Looks good, but, perhaps the roof texture could use a tiny bit of tweaking; perhaps a small gradient, or something. Nothing too major. Looks great, otherwise! Xdesignteam's best to date!

@DT: I don't think so, that roof texture need more gradient. Why? Because I've used to texture this Metal Material, so getting more gradient could give me other effect, which I've planned. If you could see first pre-renders, you will understand what I talking about. thanks for comment - you never comment our buildings from what can I see :)

For the record, this building is an exact replica of the one standing in New York, so any negative comments should be directed at the real thing.

locomotivecommander : There is a difference between constructive criticism, and negative comments. My comment posted was a constructive one, obviously. It is a great model, and I'll probably download it anyway. This might be like the one IRL, but, in SC4, a little bit of extra emphasis on some parts is sometimes necessary. But, yeah, I'm looking forward to the rest of the complex!
