Worthington Arms, a SHUR Project Release by JBSimio
This is the second release in the Skipjack Historical Urban Restoration Project. Learn more about the history of this project here. The Worthington Arms sits on what was once a very prestigious spot across from Skipjack Park. Historically, it was the first apartment built in this area of the city. The owner, Joseph Worthington, decided to keep the structure relatively small so that it would not clash with the surrounding homes. Eventually, many of these homes were bought by Worthington and other developers to make way for larger apartments as the city grew. The Worthington Arms was chosen by the SHUR Project for its general aesthetics. Although the building doesn’t reflect any particular style, residents in the area have always been charmed by the graceful bay windows and the elaborate detailing on the front porch.
The Worthington Arms isn’t actually based on any particular real life building. It’s strictly a figment of my imagination. This release contains two residential versions. One is a low wealth on a 2x2 lot; the other is a medium wealth on a 2x3 lot. Enjoy!<
