About This File

So, it's finally released off the forums.

Back in 4.0, there was a thread started by Jeronij where he placed trees in the Mayor Mode Tree Menu, just like any other tree (except they didn't grow). Then, there came the idea to make a watelink.gifr plop. After some tinkering it was nailed down to the best of our ability (for the moment) and was released. I was not too happy with the options so I uploaded my own file to Jeronij, who modded it and sent it on it's merry way. And the only place to get it was in the thread.

Until now.

This is just like the numerous other Mayor Menu Plop Mods out there that place something in the Mayor Mode Tree Menu. This just so happens to mimic water (the Edmonton Water color, actually).

Just unzip, read and then delete the readme, and place in your default directory for SimCity 4 plugins. It should show up on the bottom of your Mayor Mode Tree Menu with a custom icon. You can't miss it.

I would like to thank Jeronij for modding the original file (and to DuskTrooper for making the original that I made additions to) and especially to dedgren (who has a wonderful CJ and has done wonders with this plop prop. It's called Three Rivers Region and it's right here.) who actually sent me my file so I could upload it here today after I had a hissy fit with SimCity 4 and my plugins folders and Recycle Binned them all. Thank you!

Any questions, please pm me or leave a comment here.

TheJerseyDevil: This mimics the color of the water of the first Edmonton Water Mod timeotheus released. That's the color I was using in my regions at the time. Thanks everyone, hope it works well for you.

Thanks, brtim2, for the nice mention. I note, though, that you did all the hard work on this great addition to anyone's plugin arsenal.

Thanks Britm2 for sharing this! I'd always found it really hard to make plop water look good, but with the great tutorials that dedgren gives, I might just have to give it another try :-)

I've been hoping there was a ploppable water for SC4, and then I ran across the 3RR thread, so here I am. Thanks a million!
