About This File

UPDATE: Correct Growable lots included. If you have all ready downloaded this, please re-download and delete previous growable files if you want this lot to grow. My bad. Oops!

Simply known as "Black Box" to Portlanders, 200 Market rises 19 stories over the South Auditorium District. It's black glass curtain facade reflects its mostly modernist surroundings.

JtPortland originally started this building, and has allowed me to finish it up. I used the ocasion to experiment with custom LOD's and to unveil a badly-needed installation program.

Installation instructions:

Unzip and run the enclosed installation program. The default folder is set to C:\my documents\Sim City4\Sparkythepenguin\200 Market. You may change the destination path while installing. After installation you may delete versions you do not desire, each version is in their own folder.

Stats:

  • 3 Versions included: CO$$ Grow, CO$$ Plop, and static landmark
  • 1752 CO$$ jobs in both plop and growable versions
  • Landmark and CO$$ plops cost $50,000 to place.
  • The growable lot is a stage 7 Houston tile
Dependencies:

BSC MEGA Props SG Vol. 1

Bugs/Issues:

Night windows at zoom 5 are not working correctly. I don't know why this is, but I suspect a lighting rig problem.

If you experience any problems, please PM Sparkythepenguin here at Simtropolis.

Wow! Now this is one very original and interesting building - which shows that even a black box doesn't have to be boring . That base you modeled there is top-notch, and I love to see another CO

Great Building! You should change the pic though. You don't see all the details before you click on it, to me it looked quite boxy first, but then...!

Oh zoom 5 is the closest zoom, the one you play around in U-drive-it in. I just figured that nobody's going to be playing at nite at that level, so this is acceptable (for now).

Whoops, I just realized I haven't commented about this one yet... I really like the generic rectangular shape and the dark facade. The garden roof makes this lot extra-special, well done!
