About This File

Djohaal Inc. Phased Array Power Plant.

Descritpion which I didn't manage to put on a custom query:

Djohaal Inc. is back at it again with a mysterious and exotique phased array power plant. How it works you ask? Simple. Huge ammounts of energy are produced in the floating orb on the core, and those energies are deleivered to the three plasma coils (blue things) over the concrete base and cooled by the nitrogen reservoir.
Deep underground sits a plasma accelerator which employs the plasma produced to overheat  a chemical medium on extremely high temperatures. The overheated medium is then taken to the two huge boilers where it is used to heat water, which then passes trough the series of genarators producing many megawatts of energy. The tower in the end of the line is a pressure releif unit which filters the otherwise dirty water and lets it be released on air as normal steam (with some polluting slightly toxical by-products)
The water which passes trough the genarator units is then returned to the piping system at the boilers and goes underground again to the two large cooling towers.
Everything is managed from the central control room, and allows a safe production of over 70 Megawatts per month. The main letdown of the power plant is that water has to be continually re-injected on the system, causing a consuption of 1000 cubic meters per month.

Installation Instructions:

Unzip this file in your SimCity 4 plugins folder (/simcity4/plugins) either at my documents or the SimCity root section.

While this is enough to ensure proper funcionality, it is ADVISED that the files are put in subfolders to organize it. The logo fountain can be placed along with other prop packs from other groups and it'll not affect productivity.

This zip contains the following files:

Djohaal Logo.dat - Logo-like fountain prop and description data, possible dependance for future files.

Util-PhasedPwrPlant.dat - Merged .dat of all the files used in this plant.

The props as they appear in the lot editor are named as follows:

CoolingTower - Large nuclear-plant like cooling tower
EmergencyTower - Pipe-connected steam puffer.
Kaldera - The big boiler with pipes
Genarators - Genarator modules with pipes.

The main building is named "Reaktor" (due to the fact it is easier to find and looks funny)

Very creative and looks so cool. I will have to try this. I'm always open to cleaner sources of energy.

Whoa, what a wild mix! o_O I agree that e.g. these cooling towers on a more generic power plan would look great. You definitely have talent, though this lot is a bit too "funky" for my personal taste... keep it up! :)

Yes very nice and interesting, and I agree those cooling towers would look great on a new version of the classic Nuclear Plant.

Hmm, didn't it send water to the core and back up again making geothermal energy, and them all going into nuclear power plants? Umm, 6 - 10 [rating] I'd go thumbs up, but I've Downloaded, Placed, Used and Exploded quite a few times already.

It looks exelent, complectly clean (actualy steam is a form of pollution since it changes the eco-system and the birds migrations and stuf :p ) very expencive but great for "end-game city" the only down-side is.... it's quite utopic, a bit too sci-fi to be a good simcity building, but still, 10/10
