About This File
The goal of my RMIP project is to take airport runway realism to the next level. This version includes ploppable modular Lots for both concrete and asphalt runways.
RMIP 1.0 features include:
- single-centerline wide runways
- two exit taxiway styles (standard & rapid-exit)
- four threshold styles (plain, displaced, plain/stopway, displaced/stopway)
- touchdown zone and aiming point markings
- runway designators
The asphalt runway Lots have been re-modded to produce far less pollution than before, and a few textures have been re-worked. Consequently, v0.5 files must be removed before installing this new version. Rebuilding your entire airport is not necessary - only the Lots with stopways have to be re-plopped.
These Lots will appear toward the bottom of the Airports menu. I've modded them with custom names, icons, and captions. For placement instructions and further details, please consult the included readme and the development thread.
The only external dependency is the SimWings Airport Pack (SWAP).
