About This File

This power plant

conducts lightning from storms(not your disaster strikes)and stores all

that energy inside a battery deep within the facility. As you all know,

lightning strokes have a "very" high voltage, so this plant will

provide a great deal of power at a low cost. Not really realistic but

an idea. This plant produces 75000 MWH.

The general idea is not bad. However, wouldn't a power plant consist of more than just transformators? Wouldn't there be some office and maintenance buildings, parking lots, and most of all, fences to keep people away from such a dangerous place?

I actually like the fact it doesn't look like a power plant as its not exactly common to see a power plant in eveery city. But transformers are all over the place. Must agree with T Wrecks though it would have been more realistic with a fence.

Same problem here - a big, brown-paper box smack in the middle of the plant. What are the dependencies?

your problem may be that you don't have the building props v.1 and v.2 from maxis go to simcity.ea.com to get them there in the lot editor section and you must be logged in to see the files and download them.(hope this helps)

Yes it could use some safety areas around it. but I dont think there would be any office building here, I mean how many of you would want to work so close to a device that attracts lightning all day? there is no insurance company on the planet that would cover those health plans.

actually guys, you need those transformers. The cells are underground. look closely. the transformers have big spiral magnets leading down. the yellow bars collect. i wouldnt mind a building/parking lot.
