About This File

*UPDATED: I have updated this upload with a 1x2 lot. Before, I was trying to reproduce the alley/parking lot behind the building, but I figured it would be  more useful without it. Besides, I (and anyone else) can simply use other custom ploppables if an alley is desired. This size also will fit better with future releases of similar buildings. Also, the 1x2 lot doesn't require the BSC Texture Pack Vol 1 dependency.*

This building is modeled after the apartment building I lived in last year near my school, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). The north campus area is full of little efficiency apartment buildings like this one. In real life, this building contains 24 units, and since they're efficiencies (studios) there's usually only one person in each, but I have known couples to share them (and probably drive each other crazy!) so I made the capacity 30. Hopefully I'll be able to recreate some more buildings from the area in the future.

1x3 Growable with 30 R$$ residents (48 R$ when dilapidated)
Grows on medium or high density lot and in the Houston tileset

Dependency:
BSC Texture Pack Vol 1

Simply install these two files into your SimCity 4 Plugins folder.

this is really nice for your first one. I think the roof texture could have a little reworks - it looks quite clean. but please go on!

This is your first BAT? (well, 1st 1/2, as you put it) WOW, 10/10. Keep up the good work and maybe one of these days you'll be held up to the same status as PEG, Simgoober, NDEX, Frogface, BSC, ill Tonkso, MrBisson, etc. (My apologies if I forget someone or misspelled their name).

Perfect but single creations like this make it really worth browsing through all the pages here even though it takes time.
