About This File
After twelve months of procrastination, and as something special for my 40th lot, I'd like to present The Maddison Gallery....
TheMaddison Gallery is a the cultural centre of SimCity. Sims from allcorners of the city come to share their "ooh's" and "aah's" as theyview some of the worlds finest art. Currently the gallery is featingsome of the finest paintings from Europe's greatest galleries.
The building's design allows the outside world to see into thebuilding. At the centre of the building is an open space with waterfeature and mosaic featuring fine Italian marble. The buildingitself has great sheets of green glass held by massive polished steelpillars arranged around the central area.
Surrounding the gallery is a large forecourt featuring modern art fromthe famed artist SimGoober. The irregular and abstract placement ofthese pieces contrasts with the symmetry and order of the mainbuilding, forecourt and ponds. The musuem is a popular gathering pointfor the local sims; "I'll meet you by the head at the pond". It's atradition to get wedding photo's taken infront of the triple heads.
