About This File

The superturbine Generator, origionally by Pioneer generators is a clean and very efficient way of generating power. The superturbine tower uses wind to power the enormous turbines, generating clean electricity. It has a low monthly cost and generates 23000 megawatts, but to get it isn't cheap at a plop cost of 100000.

What does it do? How much does it cost to plop? How much does it cost per month? How much does it cost to bulldoze? How much power does it put out...if it does? What does it look like ingame? Need more questions to answer?

The 'okay' is for the design itself....I won't rate until I know more of the lot....As someone once said....No stats, no download, no rate....

Please more details. And maybe the plop cost a bit reducing ??? Model can be used as a part of an airport.....

lol...Blackbeard,they used the rest to make a Bus-station....lol.Great job. like the idea, very original.

The cost is way to outrageous and this couldn't create such large amounts of power. That is definetly in need of a fix. Model looks good though.

Looks more like somthing you would find in the ocean using currents to generate power..... which is not a bad idea for somthing I just made up..... :)

I'll fix the plop cost and power output, and the air is sent down a shaft to be purified that doesn't show because I guess the views when exporting dont show it.

Cool idea. I really love the model. But the realistic physics of this are controversial. I dont know how much wind is needed to make that turbine spin. I bet its a lot of wind though. I guess if its based on the principle of a jet engine it could work. Ehh I'm getting weird there :P Great Job.

Actually, Johnb, this was origionally designed for SimMars where, apparently, the winds can reach up to 500km/h. Good you noticed that.

heh. i'm glad you elaborated the sim-mars part of it... but still, the air flowing in would rather create a stagnant chamber even in high winds rather than force the air down the shaft...

now that underwater idea aint so bad... you could call it Bernoulli's Power Converter... learn about bernoulli's principle here: http://home.earthlink.net/~mmc1919/venturi.html

end result, for real effectiveness... rather than a cone end, you should have it flair out to a larger tourbine so the air flows through spinning two tourbines per foil... then stack four foils with the flairs alternating directions... that would rull all. great idea!

According to Einstein that is impossible, the extra energy would only be minute because massive winds are needed to move the turbines. The energy isn't redirected, it dissapears from the wind and is converted into a turning power. The wind actually in the turbine would be rather mild. Good idea tho.
