america has a few churches built in the gothic style, but they arent common, since gothic is european and the new world wasnt discovered till about 600 years later :) i do like this though, it looms over my city wonderfully

Utterly beautiful. Some other buildings you might like to look at: the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh and the Connecticut State Capitol. I'd be interested in learning how to do this sort of thing if you'd be willing to help me.
