About This File

Package updated 8/15/06: Removed R plopables from package. If you can make Residential plops work, feel free to do so with this BAT.

Because it is silvery and round on three sides, Portlanders call Portland Plaza the "Norelco Building". These condos right in the middle of downtown may look like an electric razor, but house quite a few comfortably. And don't forget the great view!

This package features R$$ and R$$$ growables, and a static landmark..

Capacities (incl. devolution following lot weatth drops):

R$$ lots: 1312 R$$/2624 R$

R$$$ Lots: 694 R$$$/1312 R$$/2624 R$

Part of Around the Roses: The Portland, Oregon BAT Project. (also Please feel free to report any bugs or problems to that thread.

Great job on the buidling! I really dislike zip files within zip files, makes it difficult to get things placed in their proper directories.

I don't like zips-within-zips either, but it's the best way to keep stuff seperated. Plus, I didn't want anyone accidentally installing the plops that were worried about possible issues with gameplay.

To elaborate on the plop problem: All I could find wrong with them was the route query still acted as if it was a landmark (showing 0 workers). It didn't crash the game the 100 times I route queried it, but it wasn't enuf to certify it as safe either... Everything else about it works fine.

Sorry I couldn't figure out how to fix this in iLive. If anyone knows what to do to fix it, you totally have my support to do so.

Hmmmm... I wonder what's not showing up... Post a pic in the Portland BAT thread if it's really annoying and I'll take a look thru the GMax model for ya. :)

More on the plop thing: It showed that there was residents living in them when I queried, so I assumed it would be (mostly) working. I may just rezip and update this BAT w/o the plops. Sound like a good plan?
