I can hardly stand the "hits" on the radio (sometimes I prefer silence in the car over the radio).

"Pompeii" is my current favorite song that is overplayed; I have listened to "All About the Bass" enough times that it is stuck in my head; "Fancy" grew old really fast; and don't get me started on "Anaconda"! So, what have I been listening to the most that doesn't bother me? Reggaeton (on Pandora Radio). I also have my own station on Pandora with everything I like (I click thumbs down on every song on the Raggaeton station that are entirely in English). I hope to buy some new Mexican Pop and Rock songs when I visit my familia in December. OK, I think I might be rambling.

Also, I have been listening to this song from Civilization V: Brave New World (it's in Latin):

So I have had a Latin song stuck in my head.

Aaron Copeland: Symphony No. 3

 

Conducted by Lenny, who was a fast friend of Copeland.  This work opens with the 'Fanfare for the Common Man'.  I think it is one of the best 20th century works as it covers the ground from serious classics to jazz in one massive, gorgeous symphony.

 

It ranks right up there with Eric Korngold's score for Gone with the Wind.
