Hi people, new guy here. I have SimCity 4 deluxe, did the addons, and it crashes. I have steam. Tried to follow tutorials on youtube, thought I had it. No I didn't. Could anyone talk me through it in very layman terms, step by step, please. I tried the network addon mod(NAM), 4gb patch, sc4 fix. It crashed back to the steam 'play' screen. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

A rather funny little bug. Apparently airports aren't available in vanilla Sim City 2013? I'm not sure. However, I am very sure, that starting the guide shouldn't trap me like this: http://snag.gy/Nqi5e.jpg Only way out, is exit to main menu or quit. Can't exit the tutorial in any other way. Cheers, F

First, a little backstory... Tamarin Island is my trade cash cow. I've built up a trade empire where, even though the city is at -§70k p/h, the exporting of computers is still raking in §4m per day. At it's peak I had §33m. I decided to do some rearranging as the heavy pollution was blowing over my city and making people sick; basically moving my consumer electronics from one side of the island to the other. I've also worked to compress the units so the land value isn't too negatively affected. The problem... Even though some shipping comes in by sea, it's the delivery trucks that do much of the heavy lifting. It seems they're the ones that import all my alloy and processors. The problem is, they're stuck outside the city borders at the edge of the island's bridge. Traffic travels through them and into the city, there are no traffic problems anywhere, they just sit there on the bridge instead of coming to the city. I can click them, and buses, but they won't budge! I've tried jumping back and forth between cities, restarting the game, replacing the trade port and adding a trade port in a different location, but nothing shifts these damn trucks off this bridge. With no processors, this city is hemorrhaging money now and I've got about §19m of cushion to try and fix this. Has anyone else had this happen? Does anyone know how to fix it? Is it a known bug?

Has someone problem with population stuck nowadays? My problem looks that, I build some residential zones and population grow in normal speed but when I build some parks and citizens upgrading their houses to new $$ or $$$ level then population decrease its normal. But In my case, population decreases and doesn't increase after upgraded houses. The number varies between 100-300 citizens. I had 368 population max.

Train off the Rails, and not moving? Bug?
Savaughn08 posted a topic in SimCity (2013) Technical Help Q&A
I was playing on my city in Greysmiths Ridge when i saw a commuter train near the International Airport. The Engine on the train was off the rails and was not moving. It looked like a train derailment but i knew there was no derailment because iv never heard of them in Simcity only in Simcity 4. I managed to get some screenshots. -
Does anyone else get stuck on cheetah speed after a while? I've been playing for a few hours, and while waiting for my cities to send resources to a great work I just left it on cheetah speed. I usually use cheetah anyway just when there's nothing going on, and I typically don't have any issues throughout the session. However, after a few hours real time the game will simply run on cheetah no matter what. Pressing the number keys or even clicking the UI has no effect. The only solution is the restart the game, which makes me nervous because I'm not certain it syncs properly in this case.

Another bug + workaround: Sims stuck at streetcar stops
DVDGuy posted a topic in SimCity (2013) Technical Help Q&A
Just discovered another weird bug and a possible workaround. I had a working streetcar route with average waiting time in the mid teens, but checked the stats again the other day, and it shot all the way up to 100+ minutes! Examining the stops, I found that many stops had passengers that don't get into streetcars and just stay there forever. If you click on the sim, it just says so and so comes from the streetcar stop, and there's no "follow" button for the sim either. I demolish the stop and re-build it, and a few hours later, the same thing happens again. I even demolished all the stops, closed down the depot, rebuilt them all, and still the same - and it's usually always the same few stops. I was ready to demolish the entire depot and start again, but luckily I found a workaround - just shut down the stop, wait a few minutes, and then open it up again. The "stuck" sim then just disappears and it's been a couple of hours and the same problem hasn't occurred. Anybody else encounter the same problem?
